Team Experience: The IITS Team has provided technical and administrative support to several government customers Tasks have included project management; software design, development, and maintenance; web technology/application development; database development and administration; system support; network infrastructure design, installation and maintenance; records management; customized application and management training; IT security support; customer relationship and call center management; enterprise IT/desktop support; system consolidation and modernization services; organizational change and project management consulting; continuous process improvement review and support; and staff augmentation.

Quality Assurance Approach: IITS prides itself on providing quality services. We place a special emphasis on achieving completion of projects on time and within budget, while delivering the highest quality of project elements. Some of the procedures that we apply internally are:

  • Performance evaluations for personnel at the completion of projects and annually
  • Assignment of a manager and partner to every engagement to oversee the work and ensure that all client expectations are met
  • Assignment of a Quality Assurance Partner to every engagement to review significant deliverables and stay abreast of risk issues
  • Assignment of a senior level person, independent of the work, to perform a complete review of the tasks to ensure that all standards and requirements are met. We then accumulate the findings of the individual inspections and conduct a training course designed to minimize the risk of these and similar deficiencies occurring on future engagements
  • Apply best practices approach to continual review and process improvement

A continuous internal monitoring and review is done during the execution of our projects. This monitoring allows the identification of potential adverse situations in order that they can be addressed proactively with small adjustments rather than more extensive and expensive reactive efforts needed to correct problems.

IITS’ Quality Assurance Plan shall contain areas of review and measurement such as Desired Outcome, Required Service, Performance Standard, Acceptable Quality Level (AQL), Monitoring Method (one hundred percent inspection, random sampling, checklists), Quantity of Work, Evaluation Procedure, and Analysis of Results. Assessments will be made on an on-going basis. The assessments will be tailored to the type of task. We will actively solicit participation and input from the customer to be included in the assessment and the subsequent improvement actions.

Our quality program will provide the customer and IITS management with the necessary performance standards and surveillance mechanisms to monitor our team’s performance; ensure that we deliver quality products; maintain product integrity; provide outstanding services; and ensure that the fee earned correlates with our performance. The IITS Quality Assurance Plan will focus on task order performance measurements that align with the Statement of Objectives and enable the team to monitor performance, identify and address issues, recommend corrective actions, and adjust performance where required.
